About BNC Bicycle & Fitness

BNC Bicycle & Fitness will do anything we can to ensure you are happy. We ride bikes, also, we want you to enjoy your ride just like we would.

We will educate you during the sales process to avoid any issues. We also do adjustments and alignments prior to you leaving the shop to ensure the bike is in working order.

The owner, Brad Dickneite, is a bicyclist enthusiast who grew up in a bicycle family. Bernie Dickneite, his father, was in the business for 30 years before retiring in 2007. Brad opened BNC Bicycle & Fitness in March 2016.

Brad grew up and lives in Mt. Vernon, IL, with his wife, Crystal, and their four children. In his youth he raced BMX bicycles and earned a State Number Plate. He has done road, mountain, triathlon, biathlon, and endurance racing over the years.

He is an Army veteran (1992-1998) and presently in the Illinois National Guard.

He is a member of the National Bicycle Dealers Association, the International Mountain Bike Association, and RIDE Illinois, the state-wide organization for bicyclists.
